ABOUT AMINAH HAGHIGHI
A self-proclaimed pivot queen. My decade (give or take a few years) of work experience ranges from slinging lattes, vegan taco pop-ups, and farming (a 1/4 acre market garden).I’m now a 2L at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law serving on the current masthead of the TMU Law Review. I am an intern with the Ontario Deputy Judges\' Association. I am also the Teaching Assistant to the Legal Research and Writing course at Lincoln Alexander and Business Law at the Ted Rogers School of Management.I hold a fellowship with Level Justice where my co-researcher and I are evaluating problem-solving courts and therapeutic justice approaches to address intellectual disabilities within the Canadian criminal court system. I am the Research Assistant to Professor Uche Ngwaba for equitable pandemic management. My other research interests focus on the impact of transnational health policies on reproductive and maternal health. And I have two kids.
