ABOUT AMINAH KEATS

Aminah Keats is a licensed and board certified Naturopathic Physician, specializing in integrative oncology. Her goal with each patient is to create and recommend a personalized natural strategy that safely works to reduce side effects, support immune function and offer a cancer-fighting benefit to patients actively undergoing conventional oncology treatment, i.e. chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy, and surgery. Dr. Keats also works with patients in remission focusing more heavily on cancer prevention. In line with the naturopathic principle of Doctor as Teacher, Dr. Keats is passionate about helping patients to obtain a clear understanding of their current condition and integrative oncology plan. Dr. Keats received her doctorate degree from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine. She began her career in integrative oncology with the Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA). At CTCA, she completed a 2-year naturopathic oncology residency, worked as a naturopathic oncology consultant and later as the Director of the Naturopathic Medicine Department. She has been a speaker at a number of oncology conferences including The Annual Susan G. Komen Sisters for the Cure Event, The Annual Susan G. Komen Latinas for the Cure Event, Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s Annual Conference, Women Supporting Women’s Annual Conference, Caribbean Association of Oncology and Hematology’s Annual Conference and many more. Dr. Keats is a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO), a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, Society of Integrative Oncology, and Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
