Conduct interdisciplinary research on the evolution of vacuum tubes and semiconductor devices by examining their technological development, military applications, and global industrial impact- Analyze primary and secondary literature to connect concepts across physics, semiconductor theory (Fermi distribution, doping, diodes, transistors), and historical events, producing research findings for bi-weekly faculty reviews- Collaborate with faculty and fellow researchers to develop historical/technical insights for a future USF engineering course exploring semiconductor technology, society, and ethics.
