ABOUT AMIN Y. FARD
As a power electronics engineer, I have experience with hardware design, multi-physics simulation, control development, schematic design, layout review, and experimental validation of power electronics interfaces in various applications such as photovoltaics, data centers, and electric vehicles.My Ph.D. research experience at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) is focused on developing innovative control solutions for the coordination of grid-interactive (either forming or following) renewable-based resources to achieve enhanced resiliency, reliability, and stability.During my internship as a graduate power electronics/power delivery engineer at Intel Corporation, I worked on the power architecture of Intel\'s data center platforms. At Intel, I worked on cutting-edge technologies for the next generation of data center platforms. I worked on the magnetics design of trans-inductor voltage regulators (TLVRs), vertical power delivery, transient response of voltage regulators, efficiency analysis, multi-sided power delivery, etc, all the way from simulation to experimental validation.I am an expert in Matlab/Simulink, Simplis, PSpice, and PSCAD/EMTDC.
