ABOUT AMIN JELLALI

Writing software is an art, it’s a about building a sophisticated yet easy to assemble puzzles to work in harmony to serve a purpose.here are my coding rules:I strongly believe that mastering one programming language and framework is better than knowing a 10. It’s the difference between a code with memory leaks and overflows. The difference between 10k$ and 1K$ hardware cost (random numbers to make the case).Code with no tests is like a car with no tiers, it will go no where, unit tests tells you where your code might crash, integration test tells you why the children are fighting, stress tests will show you the limits. Testing is seeing into the future.Documentation vs self documenting code: am on the documentation team, it’s the entry cost that matters no matter how much your code or APIs are self documenting the end user, new joiner or maintainer will struggle trying to understand and debug your code, java doc is there for a reason and cognitive complexity is there for a reason and you guessed it by now swagger is there for a reason.Humble coders are the best, the IT field evolution curve is exponential so sharing ideas and listening to other points of view is the difference between systems that last for years and systems that break in a year.Team work I don’t think much needs to be said over that.I started coding at the age of 15 after 13 years I still learn new things on a daily basis, just to say that good software developers never stop learning, and never stop sharing.Peace!
