ABOUT AMIIRA ADEN
Hi there! I\'m Amiira, a senior at Lafayette College majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering. I\'ve had the privilege of interning twice with Turner Construction Company—first in Estimating and then as an Assistant Superintendent During my time in Estimating, I worked on creating scopes of work, communicating with subcontractors, and helping manage the bid process. As a Field Engineer, I handled punch list items, tracked inventory, coordinated with subcontractors, and supported project updates using tools like Procore and OpenSpace. I also obtained my OSHA 30 certification, which strengthened my understanding of construction safety. Outside of work, I serve as the Vice President of the the Muslim Students Association (MSA) and the social Media chair for National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). I’m passionate about project management, solving challenges on-site, and seeing projects come to life.
