About Amie Schindler
I am a nonprofit and operations leader passionate about building inclusive, purpose-driven organizations that create real community impact for adults with special needs.I currently serve as Vice President of the nonprofit arm of Wigglewow Dog Treats Inc, while also working in the day-to-day operations as Director of Operations & Community Engagement at Wigglewow. In these roles, I oversee operations, sales and wholesale growth, community partnerships, social media strategy, and mission-focused storytelling that fuels both impact and sustainability. I also serve as a Board Member, supporting governance, fundraising, and long-term vision. My commitment to inclusion is deeply personal. I am the mother of a 23-year-old son with autism, an experience that has shaped both my advocacy, leadership and passion. Through this journey, I have helped develop a Best Buddies club at our local high school and have been actively involved in supporting Unified Sports, creating opportunities for connection, confidence, and belonging for students of all abilities.I believe meaningful employment, inclusive communities, and purpose-driven work can transform lives — not just for individuals with disabilities, but for families, businesses, and communities as a whole. My work is centered on building systems, partnerships, and stories that help organizations grow while staying rooted in dignity, inclusion, and impact.
