ABOUT AMIEL MOSHFEGH
Dr. Amiel Moshfegh is a well respected Vascular and Interventional Radiologist serving the greater Los Angeles area. He has served as Director of Endovascular Intervention at Beverly Hills Vascular Center, VAC of South LA, and Marina Del Rey Hospital.A native of Southern California, Dr. Moshfegh began his career graduating with Honors from UC Berkeley. He then earned his MD in New York and completed his Internship/Radiology Residency in Los Angeles where he pursued a mini-Fellowship in Interventional Radiology and was voted Scholar of the Society of Interventional Radiology. His training culminated with extensive Fellowship Training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at world class Ivy League institutions including Cornell-NY Presbyterian Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.Dr. Moshfegh is a Scholar of the American College of Phlebology and the American Venous Forum and offers advanced techniques, including EndoVenous ablation, for men and women throughout Los Angeles to help reduce discomfort and improve the appearance of areas affected by painful, swollen and unsightly varicose veins.Although his passion is in comprehensive vein care, his training has afforded him additional expertise in all facets of vascular disease, including complex arterial interventions for peripheral arterial disease and percutaneous aortic aneurysm repair. He also has extensive experience with Uterine Fibroid Embolization having worked with one of the highest operators in the New York Tristate area. Additional treatments include-Angiography, Venography, Angioplasty and Stent Placement for a variety of vascular conditions including Peripheral Arterial Disease, Clotted dialysis fistulas/grafts, DVT-Central Venous Catheter Placement for Chemotherapy and Dialysis-IVC Filter Placement and Retrieval-Uterine Fibroid Embolization as a Minimally Invasive Treatment for Uterine Fibroids-Percutaneous Vertebral Augmentation for Acute Compression Fractures
