ABOUT AMI LAKDAWALA

My passion is integrating AI to drive insights in drug discovery. I am an experienced leader of cross-disciplinary product teams of scientists, AI machine learning engineers, and industry experts throughout product ideation, development, validation, and launch.I am a drug discovery scientist, technically trained computational chemist, and and an integrator of capabilities and data to drive business value. I am currently a leader in our R&D AI/ML Product team delivering initiatives spanning from early target id to late-stage drug delivery, and focused on the applications and impact of AI/ML in drug discovery. I have demonstrated a proven ability to manage multiple products with proactive and innovative solutions to complex problems.I work to ‘get things done\'. I lead strategic product teams and successfully lead and deliver diverse initiatives across the business. I have managerial and matrix leadership skills which have led to target discovery, clinical decision endpoints, and the creation of near and long-term strategic frameworks, data analysis, product profiles, user experiences, and value propositions. I am committed to enhancing employee engagement, communication, and change management through strong leadership and demonstrated strengths in building high-performing teams, maintaining relationships in matrix teams and with diverse external partners. I have effectively led, developed, and received endorsement on a comprehensive engagement plan for communicating departmental strategy, developing modules for first-line leader management skills and aligning staff to strategy. I have expertise in scientific engagement and establishing multiple channels of consistent communication for top-down and bottom-up information flows. I am a passionate scientist who gets things done.
