I am excited about being in property management, because it involves so many things I enjoy and am good at, such as contract negotiations, budget strategy, and managing complex financial arrangements. I enjoy all the details, and engaging with people to finish challenging projects. Also, being a social person with a talent for organization, I am good at event planning and coordination, I can set the logistics for all types of special events, from annual meetings, blood drives, luncheons, award ceremonies, and community events.I am experienced leading day-to-day operations, collaborating with different departments and levels of management. I am skilled at recruiting and training new hires. As a division leader, I supported employee career development and a positive work environment that stimulates ideas and knowledge exchange. As part of my own professional development, I am a licensed real estate sales person in GA and AL.Prudent financial management is important, and I am very meticulous about budget planning and expense audits. I am experienced in lease billings, accounts receivable, expense reports and portfolio/financial reviews.Customer relations is where I shine. I am a people person, with excellent interpersonal skills. I am usually the one who bridges communication, a trusted liaison between the company, the customer, and between departments. Part of that is being flexible, acknowledging problems as they arise, and staying attune to a customers’ shifting demands.Outside my job, I am active in civic projects and volunteering, such as helping children learn to read, as I was throughout my 16 years with IBM. I am also a dog lover and earned a degree in Service Dog Training and Education at Bergin University of Canine Studies in California.
