About Ameya Rege
I’m currently working as the Sr. Brand Manager for Fans & Appliances at Polycab India Limited. Having worked for brands like Godrej and Blue Star earlier, I have experience across verticals of brand management, category management, product marketing, advertising and trade marketing.I’m a person who loves to explore more than usual, to create unique experiences, to learn, to make mistakes, to grow and to find something to cherish at the end of it. I started this journey by pursuing Biomedical Engineering which deals with instrumentation and electronics of medical equipments. Apart from taking keen interests in academics and technical projects, I became very active in publicity and marketing activities of the student council. I enjoyed marketing more than anything else. Also, with the skill sets I possessed, I thought I would be a better marketer than an engineer. And that led me to a career in Marketing.I have been a performance-driven individual, who readily takes up new responsibilities, owns up for all his tasks, possesses good communication skills, strikes good relationships with all stakeholders, carries enterprise spirit to work in teams and carries inquisitiveness towards ideas to develop the business and towards maximizing brand visibility.
