As a part of leading health science company, gave me an opportunity to work on global life science business intelligence platform like Orchestrated Analytics (OA). • Designed cloud integration micro-service using Python fast API framework, SQL alchemy and AWS Python SDK. Developed a layer of abstraction between application layer and cloud infrastructure in efforts to make product more cloud agnostic. • Designed and developed role based S3 bucket access using AWS lambda, AWS transfer and OAuth to help users transfer files to Orchestrated Analytics platform. • Designed and developed complex multistage GitLab CI/CD pipeline to build and package more than hundred micro-services and transfer them to AWS elastic container registry hosted in multiple regions. • Designed and developed tenant deployer micro-services using python, Argo workflow and helm to orchestrate deployment of application helm charts and manage inters-application dependencies. Integrated horizontal pod auto-scaler in helm templates to manage pod scalability. • Designed and developed complex migration jobs for application layer to create service accounts, start-up schemas, users, roles in database like MySQL and Snowflake. • Designed a disaster recovery and business continuity plan in OA platform architecture by adopting industry standard strategies like warm standby and multi region/site thus reducing recovery point and recovery time objective. • Maintained product’s Technical Design Authority (TDA) that provides architecture design guidance to developers. • Successfully led team of developers spread across multiple regions to deliver high quality products in a fast-paced agile development.
