Amey brings extensive experience in deals, both during diligence and post-close in situations such as buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, integrations, and carve-outs. He also contributes to strengthening management teams and organizations that are aligned and accountable for results. Clients value Amey’s nuanced and data-driven point of view when navigating high-stakes talent decisions.Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Amey was a senior consultant in Deloitte Consulting’s human capital practice, where he led engagements for large-scale transformations and people analytics. Previously, Amey was an organizational effectiveness consultant with The Home Depot and UPS, where he specialized in talent management and employee engagement.Amey is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he earned a B.S. in psychology and an M.S. and Ph.D. in behavior and brain science. His graduate school research focused on the flow state (i.e, being “in the zone”) with athletes and artists. Drawing on these principles, Amey is a coach to executives on how to achieve peak performance both professionally and personally.
