About Amey Gade

I am part of recommendation systems in WebXT division at Microsoft. I am passionate about working on large scale systems, recommendation services, performance optimization and web development.I have been one of the core members of the Recommendation systems team which powers key horizontal experiences like Autosuggest, Related Searches, People Also Ask for Bing, MSN and other Microsoft endpoints. And I have been part of transformation to see it grow from 5-member team to 50+ today.When I am not working, I spend my time in creating strategies for F&O and swing trading or following sports like cricket, kabaddi. If there are players, I usually am up for a game of Table Tennis, Cricket too.

   Currently I am leading a team of talented Software Engineers as part of Autosuggest team. The aim of the team is to innovate, build richer experience and to bring consistency on different Microsoft search endpoints like Bing.com, MSN.com, Edge Address bar, Bing Apps etc. for query formulation scenario. I work on a service which has 100K KPS load and serves request in sub 100ms.
