Review trade contractor insurance certificates and insurance policy forms for compliance with specific insurance requirements for a respective construction project. Review insurance documentation obtained by various members of risk management team from respective trade contractors for acceptability and authorized signatory approval of insurance documentation presented when it met our contract insurance requirements. Discuss any discrepancies in insurance obtained by trade contractors with CNY management, trade management and/or their insurance broker for final approval of insurance presented for construction project. Maintain insurance, litigation and accident logs for each construction project. Responsible for sending incident notifications to CNY’s insurance carriers and insurance carriers of various trades, vendors, and consultants on projects. Obtain claim documentation on various claims and followed up on tenders of defense & indemnification with the respective insurance carriers. Responsible for providing defense counsel with investigative documentation Scheduled depositions for potential witness to incidents. Resolved various property damage liability claims on several projects. Conduct kickoff meetings with various trade contractors to discuss requirements prior to commencing work. Prepare insurance renewal submission for Commercial General Liability, Cyber Liability, Crime, Directors & Officers, EPLI, Employee Benefit Plan Fiduciary Liability, Professional Liability and Pollution Legal Liability policies. Review CNY renewal policies with issued binders to determine if policy issued meets binder agreement & CNY requirements. Obtain endorsements to policies if needed. Responsible for updating the contract insurance requirements for subcontractors, vendors and consultants to make sure it meets the Project Owner\'s agreement requirements, CNY requirements and our liability carrier requirements.
