Amer is a dynamic Talent Acquisition and HR Leader whose journey from managing large human resources teams in Syria to becoming a passionate advocate for migrant professionals in Germany defines his unique approach to talent. With over interviews conducted throughout his career, he brings a wealth of experience in identifying and nurturing top talent.After personally navigating the complexities of underemployment and professional integration in Germany since 2015, Amer gained a profound understanding of the systemic obstacles faced by skilled individuals with diverse migration backgrounds. This insight fueled his commitment to creating inclusive pathways and optimizing talent utilization.Leveraging his deep expertise, Amer served as Recruitment and Entrepreneurs Manager at SINGA Berlin, contributed to the UNHCR Refugee Forum 2023, and excelled as a Senior Recruiter at CareerFoundry. Currently, as a Recruitment Manager at Deutsche Bahn, he actively focuses on attracting and integrating Arabic-speaking talent, building diverse and impactful teams.A certified coach in entrepreneurship and tech recruitment, Amer\'s influence extends beyond corporate hiring. He has been a key contributor to initiatives like the Go4DGreen project, supporting immigrant entrepreneurs. His entrepreneurial drive is further demonstrated through his active involvement in co-founding several projects, where he applies a hands-on approach to fostering innovation and building sustainable ventures from the ground up. He also served as a vital member of the Council of Practitioners at EPIM (European Philanthropic Initiative for Migration), pioneering new approaches to combat the underemployment and deskilling of migrant professionals.Amer is convinced that the challenge of deskilling is a global phenomenon, intensified by technological advancements and evolving job markets, and passionately advocates for an inclusive, holistic strategy to ensure all talents are recognized, developed, and integrated. His mission is to redefine recruitment strategies and ultimately reshape the future of the talent ecosystem.
