About Allison Menjivar
As a User Experience (UX) Researcher, I spent years obsessing over how people navigate complex systems and advocating for clarity when their experience breaks down. Today, I am applying that same rigor to a new mission: ensuring human experiences are improved through the legal process as a Paralegal.I am at my best when diving into the granular details and complex workflows that ensure a case or transaction runs seamlessly. To me, legal work isn\'t just about forms and documents; it’s about providing the clarity, ethics, and precision that legal teams need to be successful. My transition is backed by a career spent navigating business constraints and government regulations to solve problems for people. My skills translate directly to the rigorous demands of legal teams. My prior career trajectory is all about rapid learning, adaptability and collaboration with multi-functional teams at all levels. I have planned global travel itineraries as a travel agent and managed the technical chaos of off-Broadway theater, New York Fashion Week, and a few literal circuses. Added to my career toolkit, my recently completed Certificate in Paralegal Studies makes me ready to support legal teams in the practice areas of Commercial Real Estate, Intellectual Property, and Arts & Entertainment.
