I am a product design leader with expertise in UX, UI and interaction design, and experience managing product teams and shipping software. I’m an empath with a flair for user research, proficient in conducting usability assessments that employ various tried and tested tools and techniques. I\'ve done over 100 user interviews and tests in recent years. I develop intuitive products with inclusive design in mind from the start. I\'ve had the opportunity to study at four universities, two colleges and many smaller private institutions in Canada and Australia. I have returned to school to brush up on design software, project management, Spanish language, and plenty of other subjects of interest.For the past 16 years, I\'ve engaged with several facets of the broader design field, from designing user-centred digital workflows and running UX workshops, to delivering the full gamut of design projects, end-to-end. Fundamentally, I\'m passionate about products and systems that are not only usable but that are inherently accessible to a diverse range of users.Exploring human difference and cultural contexts has long captured my time and attention. I am an avid traveller fortunate to have visited over 50 countries. Much of my globe-trotting has been on my own, just me and my backpack, and I\'ve been appreciative of the unique experiences and lifestyles that locals have generously introduced me to everywhere I\'ve been.At home, I practice yoga regularly, I love reading books, trying new restaurants, visiting galleries, and spending quality time with my favourite people.
