ABOUT AMELIA LANDRY
I’m a researcher and advocate working at the intersection of environmental policy, community engagement, and project leadership and operations. As a recent masters graduate from the University of Oxford, I’m focused on how governance and research can better serve people and ecosystems. My approach blends analytical rigor with a commitment to justice. Environmental Governance & PolicyI examine how policies shape environmental outcomes. My work looks beyond technical fixes to explore structural solutions that center frontline communities both in the United States and internationally. Sustainability Research & ReportingTrained in human geography methods, I prioritize stories and context alongside quantitative data. I assess sustainability challenges with both strong knowledge of social theory and pragmatism. I’ve conducted award-winning research on and with nonprofits, evaluating programs and translating my findings for action. Nonprofit OperationsMy experience in mission-driven hunger relief organizations has taught me the importance of clear communication, adaptive planning, and resourcefulness. I’m drawn to work that bridges research and real-world impact through fundraising, partnership-building, and managing projects. Leadership & TeamworkI believe good leadership starts with listening. In academic, professional, and volunteer leadership roles, I’ve learned how to collaborate across disciplines, navigate complexity and ethics, and foster spaces where diverse perspectives lead to stronger outcomes. Education & EngagementI’m passionate about making environmental and policy issues accessible. From learning pedagogy to designing educational materials, I strive to encourage others to see themselves as agents of change.Let’s connect if you share my curiosity about justice, sustainability, and community-driven solutions.
