Manage all eDiscovery and related requests for two divisions and up to four regional offices for the Bureau of Consumer Protection.• Counsel approximately 50 case teams on eDiscovery best practices based on the Federal Rules.• Expedite and field over 600 data and eDiscovery requests per year- including technical assistance, vendor services, training, and data privacy issues.• Oversee requests for 50+ cases every year ensuring deadlines are met.• Consult in between two and six Meet and Confer/26(f) conferences per year on eDiscovery processes and related strategy.• Generate Relativity analytics information sheets to hand out to case teams on Active Learning and Textual Near Duplicates.• Counsel case teams on eDiscovery issues/strategy on topics such as deduplication, TAR/Active Learning, Email Threading, production format, etc.• Facilitate forensic collection and processing of multiple TBs of data collected from all over the country.• Author multiple sections of the bureau’s intranet litigation website to guide case teams through eDiscovery/EDRM process.• Identify and investigate issues as part of the Federal Trade Commission Privacy Committee.• Coordinate all communication to 50 case teams.• Mentor and train intake team of two members in project management work.• Evaluate estimates from two to four vendors per SOW – not just for price, but for quality of work and speed.• Collaborate closely with processors (and other technical staff) and then present that information to non-technical audiences.• Analyze new legal decisions on eDiscovery and propose changes to protocols based on those decisions.• Educate case teams on services provided by my unit to assist in litigation. • Operate expertly as part of a team.
