I am a manager in the Life Sciences practice at Bates White. I specialize in leading teams that analyze large, complex data sets to answer questions related to liability, causation, and damages. My areas of expertise include- Damages and liability analysis - Data analysis using Stata, R, SQL, Databricks, Hadoop, and Python- Discovery support- Pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement- Settlement and mediation supportAt Bates White, I am the staffing czar for the Life Sciences practice: I coordinate staffing for matters within the practice and ensure resources are allocated efficiently and equitably across practices. I am also a consultant development program sponsor: I provide mentorship and feedback to five consultants with whom I do not work directly. I was a summer consultant internship program lead for two years and served on the Women\'s Network organizing committee for two years. I previously worked at the Council of Economic Advisers as a research economist studying labor and poverty policy. I graduated from Georgetown University with honors in both government and economics and was involved in a variety of policy and service organizations on campus.

   Lead teams that analyze large, complex data sets to answer questions related to liability, causation, and damages, particularly in the life sciences sector- Perform and oversee economic and statistical analyses using Stata, R, SQL, Python, Databricks, and Hadoop- Present data analyses in a digestible way for clients and courts- Assist experts in drafting report sections and preparing for deposition and trial testimony- Support counsel through fact discovery to obtain relevant data and documents- Coordinate with counsel and expert to align expert report scope with case strategy- Develop and evaluate expert discovery strategy with counsel, particularly within joint plaintiff or defense groups (JPG/JDG)- Facilitate project staffing within the Life Sciences practice by identifying availabilities and development opportunities- Mentor consultants formally through the Consultant Development Program and informally on project teams- Prepare client budget proposals, provide regular updates, and review invoices before sending them to counsel- Organized and oversaw the Summer Consultant internship program in 2022 and 2023 as part of a team of client services and human resources staff.
