ABOUT AMELIA MILLY THOMPSON
I’m building a career in the music industry, with a focus on PR, journalism, marketing and content creation. I’m especially interested in how strong storytelling can support artists, connect audiences and contribute to the wider creative landscape.I’m a frequent contributor to Clash, The Rock Revival and Hive Magazine, where I write live reviews, album reviews and artist interviews, with a particular focus on emerging artists and grassroots scenes.Alongside this, I’m Music Subeditor at The Courier (previously Gaming Subeditor), editing and overseeing content and designing page layouts using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and WordPress. I hold a BA in History from Newcastle University and am currently studying a postgraduate degree in Media & Journalism.
