ABOUT AMELIA MIA SPELLMAN
Hi there, I’m so happy you’re here! I’m an attentive and passionate communicator, currently studying Public Relations and Sociology at one of my favorite places: the University of Oregon. I’m interested in the intersection between the two areas of study, and how the patterns of human behavior can elevate the way we connect, communicate, and create impact within society. This year on campus, I serve as the Programming Committee Lead for UO’s PRSSA Chapter, where I help plan events that connect students with industry professionals and real-world PR experiences. I also work as an Account Executive for Allen Hall Public Relations, the University of Oregon’s student-run PR firm, where I collaborate with my client to develop strategic messaging. In addition, I serve as Treasurer for the Women’s Club Soccer Team, managing budgeting, travel, and fundraising logistics to support the team’s success on and off the field.My passion for community and shared workplace culture stems from my foundational experience as a barista. In this role, I’ve learned how to turn brief, everyday interactions into moments that are personal, intentional, and memorable.
