I am a tutor for Teaching Things, an organisation that provides tutorials for clinical medical students, focusing on the UKMLA core curriculum. Through this role, I create and present presentations which are focused around Single Best Answer questions and Clinical and Practical Skills Assessments.

ABOUT AMELIA SNOOK
I am a final year Medical Student at University College London, having received First Class Honours for an intercalated BSc in Surgical Sciences. I am enthusiastic about Surgery and love getting involved in research, especially projects that involve collaboration with different healthcare specialties. I have a strong interest in medical education and, as Education Officer for UCL Surgical Society (20••••23), I developed multiple tutorial series for every year of Medical School and enabled collaboration with doctors from different hospitals so that they too can run tutorials for students. Most recently, I successfully co-hosted the first CPSA workshop with over 60 students from year 2 (2023) and then organised it again in 2024. I played tennis for the UCL W2s and am a trained level 2 LTA tennis coach. I tutor part-time as well. I am a strong Mental Health advocate and, as Assistant Director of the Medics4Medics team at UCL (20••••23), I encourage balance between studies and extracurriculars, organising talks to improve the mental wellbeing of students.Finally, I am the Current Students Co-Director for Future Frontline, a healthcare CIC that I am passionate about, which aims to widen participation into healthcare degrees and support students and professionals with their roles in our healthcare system. I have been involved in and have led many free webinars and workshops including the successful interview webinars and workshops held in November and December 2022 and 2023 and January 2024.
