I have earned both my MBA and BSBA in Management with a focus in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. I have worked extensively the last 3+ years in the aerospace, maritime and defense industry. I was the sole buyer for Teledyne AES first ever space program and cross trained with the Material Pricing Analyst team to broaden my understanding of BOMs, ROMs, proposals, contracts, and pricing. I am always eager to learn new roles and willing to go above and beyond when taking on a new program/project. I am a quick learner and problem solver. I truly believe communication is key and pertinent to having a successful relationships with distributors, OEMs, brokers, customers, etc. My 4+ years of experience at ADTRAN broadened my understanding of business operations, customer relations, and the need for cross-company visibility. During my time at ADTRAN and Teledyne, I have assisted in a multitude of process improvements and work closely with IT to create dashboards in SalesForce, Epicor, and XA, which changed manual work hours in to instant reports.
