About Amelia McCarthy
I am currently pursuing my Master of Public Health (MPH) at Boston University with a functional certificate in Health Policy and Law and a context certificate in Global Health. My academic experiences, combined with by background in communication, leadership, and teamwork, fuel my commitment to advancing health equity and ensuring access to quality care for all people. I am especially passionate about the intersection of mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing. I advocate strongly for mental health care as a vital component of overall health and find being active and spending time outdoors inspires me and supports my own well being. I am always eager to gain new experiences in health policy and to collaborate with people across disciplines and backgrounds. At the core, I believe health care is a human right and I want my career to contribute to building a more equitable and accessible health system.
