About Amelia Mauldin

Amelia is an astute and talented communications professional currently at Northern Trust Asset Management, a global leader in the investment management industry. In her role, she supports and executes strategic communications packages on behalf of business leadership for internal announcements including new hires, product launches, and business initiatives. Moreover, she manages social media both for the firm and on behalf of the firm\'s president. Outside of her role, Amelia serves as the social committee co-chair for Northern Trust\'s Women of Color Alliance and previously was the communications co-chair for the firm\'s Black Business Resource Council. She is passionate about marketing and communications, especially in the diversity, equity, and inclusion space. For Amelia, becoming a communications professional was meant to be - her favorite childhood pastimes of writing and storytelling have evolved into such an exciting and dynamic career. Amelia is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she earned her bachelor\'s degree in communication and political science, and a minor in Hispanic studies. Outside of work, she is a board member for the University of Pennsylvania\'s Chicago alumni chapter, the Penn Club of Chicago. In her free time, Amelia enjoys reading, camping, and spending time with friends, family, and her Pomeranian puppy.
