About Amelia Camacho

As a dedicated voice teacher, I have the privilege of working with students of all ages and experience levels. My teaching approach focuses on strengthening voices and building confidence through the mastery of breath control and vocal mechanics. Additionally, I guide students in developing essential musicianship skills, such as ear training and sight-singing, while helping them explore a diverse repertoire of music. Many of my students actively participate in community choirs and theater productions, and some have gone on to study music education and vocal performance. I am proud that many former students are now thriving in the fields of education, performing arts, and parish ministry. In my role as Director of Music in parish ministry, I was responsible for planning, directing, and performing music for weekend liturgies, weddings, and funerals. Collaborating closely with the parish staff, I played a key role in organizing parish-wide events, including retreats and the Dedication of our new church. Under my leadership, the music ministry program flourished through effective communication with volunteer musicians, strategic scheduling, leadership training, and opportunities for liturgical and spiritual formation and fellowship.
