About Amelia Barlow

I’m a junior at the University of Southern California majoring in International Relations. I am passionate about national security, foreign policy, and the role of non-state actors in global conflict. My academic and professional experiences reflect a deep interest in how institutions, information, and historical memory shape global outcomes. I currently work at Cornerstone Government Affairs, where I support political operations, event coordination, and business development across highly regulated sectors. Previously, I worked at Cyberbit, a cybersecurity firm. I’ve also conducted original research on U.S. intervention in Haiti and its long-term impacts on resistance movements and national identity, which I will present at ISA-West this fall. At USC, I serve as Vice President of the Political Union, where I lead executive operations and facilitate across-the-aisle dialogue on domestic and international issues. I’m also a member of the Blackstonian\'s Pre-Law Honor Society and have received several competitive scholarships recognizing my academic performance and leadership. I am driven by a strong sense of purpose and a desire to serve, and am especially interested in roles that demand analytical precision and mission-driven research at the intersection of policy, security, and strategy.

   Alpha Phi International Fraternity

   Organizes large-scale events with 8 other Panhellenic sororities with a focus on philanthropy, community building, and sisterhood- Represents Alpha Phi in Panhellenic decision-making, handles all communication between both governing bodies- Handles all external affairs for a sorority of over 200 members- Gives weekly presentations and updates to Panhellenic and Alpha Phi
