About Ameesha Albert
I have completed my Master’s degree in Molecular Medicine, specializing in multi-epitope peptide vaccine research. My master’s thesis focused on designing a vaccine targeting the F-protein of the Nipah Virus, a highly pathogenic zoonotic virus. Using immunoinformatics and bioinformatics approaches, I developed peptide constructs aimed at stimulating effective immune responses, supported by computational modeling and structural analysis to evaluate vaccine potential.Prior to this, during my Bachelor’s degree, I conducted molecular modeling of anticancer molecules derived from Taxus brevifolia (Pacific yew tree) and their interaction with the CDKN2A tumor suppressor complex (PDB ID: 1BI7). This research explored how these natural compounds could influence bladder cancer pathways by binding to tumor suppressor proteins, providing insights toward anticancer drug discovery.Alongside my scientific expertise, I maintain a strong interest in psychology and human behavior. I am passionate about how integrating psychological insights with biomedical research can enhance healthcare outcomes and inspire more holistic approaches to patient care.I am fascinated by the connections between psychology, behavior, and immune function, and eager to explore how these interdisciplinary insights can enhance biomedical research and vaccine development.I am eager to contribute my interdisciplinary expertise to innovative projects in vaccine design, drug discovery, or translational research, and to grow within dynamic environments that value integrative thinking and scientific curiosity.
