Hi, I’m Dr. Ameesh Samalopanan—an Assistant Professor of at the Department of Management Studies, NALSAR University of Law (ranked #3 in India’s NIRF law category). My work sits at the intersection of Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and Labor Law, with a core research agenda focused on workplace dignity and decent work (SDG 8). I design and deliver courses in Organisational Behavior, Social Psychology, and Labor Law, integrating Case Studies & Case laws in a gamified learning format. My current research intends to explore how social constructivism, intersectionality, and conflict theory inform dignity at work. I believe dignity should underpin every workplace interaction. By combining empirical research, legal insight, and practical management tools, I aim to help organisations craft systems where people thrive and businesses excel through HR‑industry roundtables and collaborate with legal scholars to draft policies, most recently, a Mental Health Policy for Higher Education Institutes.If you’re interested in organisational design for startups or SDG‑aligned workplace strategies, feel free to reach out.
