ABOUT AMEERA KHAN
I live in the greater Twin Cities Area in Minnesota. I graduated from St. Louis University in May 2018 with a Bachelor\'s of Science in Bioelectrical Engineering, with minors in Engineering Math and Computer Science, and I worked for Epic Hosting for 10 months as a Client Systems Engineer and nearly a year with Mobile Doorman as a Devops Engineer. I began working with Carrot Health in August 2020, which was subsequently acquired by Unite Us and I was a Devops Engineer working on Business Intelligence and Data Pipeline problems during my tenure there. Through my creation of an automated CI/CD pipeline for Tableau changes, I reduced Data Engineering time spent on Toil by ~30%, allowing them to focus on expanding their Data Infrastructure. In May 2024, I began working with Infinite Campus as a Devops Engineer and have been there ever since. I have also been an active Youth Activist with Advocates for Youth\'s Muslim Youth Leadership Council, creating resources and networks for LGBTQ+ Muslim youth and their allies. Message me directly if you are interested in receiving any of these (free) resources! I have a passion for knowledge and giving back to my community, and will jump at opportunities where I can learn something new or where I can be of service to those around me. I have been involved with organizations that feed the homeless, and interfaith programming at St. Louis University where I was the President of the Interfaith Alliance. My dream job would be to be part of a startup using AI and Machine Learning to address real societal inequities, especially within the Healthcare Tech world.
