Leading Finance and accounting team of 6, engaging new talent acquisition, development and evaluating performance. Oversight of finance, general & cost accounting, compliance, AP, AR, billbacks, depletion, domestic and export sales orders, and tasting room inventory. Work with finance team to document and streamline accounting, tax and audit procedures and controls utilizing US GAAP standards while utilizing and following the Lean Six Sigma methodology. Oversight of insurance renewals, negotiations and filing claims. Reviewing and approving contracts and agreements. Working cross functionally with production, bottling, hospitality, sales, marketing, and HR departments on various projects such as streamlining SOPs, documenting company policies, and file retention. Oversight of monthly, quarterly, and yearend close processes including robust checklists, journal entries, balance sheet, bank & credit card reconciliations. Managing a daily cashflow model of all bank account positions, with actuals prior 12 months, and forecasted rolling future 12 months. Provide all departments with monthly cost center reports. Provide management with monthly internal financial packages including balance sheets, income statements, SOCF, various margin reports, KPIs and other analysis,[YOY, MOM, and actuals vs budget]. Manage sales and overhead budgets of $25 million aligned with short and long-term performance targets. Manage models and perform analysis on long-range planning and forecasting for production, overhead, sales, and inventory. Manage yearend audit and tax with external public accounting firm.
