About Ame Fox
Polarized Submillimeter Ice-Cloud Radiometer (PolSIR) is an exciting Earth science flight mission with launches in June 2027. PolSIR is a two-spacecraft constellation designed to collect polarized submillimeter radiometric measurements of ice clouds, advancing our understanding of Earth\'s atmosphere and climate. The mission spans the full arc of spaceflight — from launch and on-orbit commissioning through two years of concurrent science operations — with science data ultimately archived and made publicly available through NASA\'s GES DISC Distributed Active Archive Center in partnership with the University of Wisconsin Science Data Center.The mission brings together a diverse team of partners across NASA Goddard, commercial spacecraft providers, international ground networks, and the science community — all working toward a common goal of delivering high-quality Earth science data.My passion lies in leading complex, multi-disciplinary teams through the challenges of flight project development and operations — turning bold science objectives into reality. After a rewarding chapter supporting the Near Space Network, I\'m energized by this new chapter and the opportunity to contribute to NASA\'s Earth science mission portfolio.
