ABOUT ASHLEY MCKEMIE

I\'m a native Austinite who loves being active, volunteering, and attacking challenging problems, particularly those where I can leverage my unique set of communication, management, and technical skills to derive actionable solutions for customers. Throughout my career I\'ve sought to constantly learn and challenge myself. I began as a writer, then lead editor, for a marketing firm, where I gained in-depth experience managing a both in house and off shore teams, setting weekly schedules and goals for the team, and continuously delivering our product on time. However, I soon found myself wanting to get firsthand experience making the technology and products I had previously only delivered to clients.Since MakerSquare, I\'ve worked in various engineering roles, where I gained valuable experience in various software languages, frameworks, and tools, in addition to deep insight of the software development cycle. I\'ve particularly enjoyed the ability to not only coordinate with various teams, such as customer success, sales, and devOps, but also improve processes, allowing teams to work more efficiently and architect products that deliver superior user experiences and help customers derive deep insights through data.
