About Amber Morris
Amber focuses her practice on representing and counseling individual and corporate policyholders against global insurers. Amber has represented clients in a wide range of industries, including health care, banking, commercial real estate, manufacturing, energy, entertainment, professional sporting, and other commercial sectors. Her experience includes an array of high-stakes, complex insurance coverage litigation and advisory matters relating to first-party property, commercial general liability and professional liability policies, as well as specialized coverages, such as representations and warranties, accidental contamination, and cyber policies. Amber also has notable experience in auditing companies’ current insurance programs, providing coverage analyses and recommendations related to potential future litigation, and engaging in pre-litigation and alternative dispute resolution.Before entering private practice, Amber completed a successful year-long judicial clerkship at the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, with the Honorable Thomas G. Saylor (retired Chief Justice). During her clerkship, Amber analyzed and reviewed petitions for allowance of appeal to recommend whether the Court should grant allocatur, drafted bench memoranda for Justice Saylor\'s use at oral argument, and reviewed and analyzed circulating majority opinions to provide Justice Saylor with a recommended preliminary vote. Amber also supervised the chambers’ interns by assigning, overseeing, and editing research projects.In law school, Amber wrote and published numerous academic articles, served as a Comments Editor on the Penn State Law Review, represented Penn State Law at the ABA moot court competition, participated in and coached mock trial teams competing at Phi Alpha Delta\'s annual national mock trial, interned at the Centre County Court of Common Pleas and Penn State Law\'s Entrepreneur Assistance Clinic, and created the Advocacy and Litigation Society at Penn State Law.In her free time, Amber enjoys mentoring law students, golfing, exploring local restaurants and cafés, walking her dog on local trails, and attending Penn State football games.
