I direct a program for cross-divisional legislative implementation analysis and execution, project coordination for return and filing processes, and process and policy analysis and coordination in order to meet program goals. I am accountable for directing, planning, formulating, and supervising the program for statewide research and statistical reporting of the taxation business group (TBG). I provide coaching, professional development support, and strategic deployment of staff/subordinate resources in order to meet program goals. I provide centralized oversight, tracking, change management, and consistent strategic alignment of the TBG’s legislative agenda and response. I am also responsible for formulating or adjusting the division-wide research and reporting program, as well as developing appropriate statistical methods and procedures for the collection, classification, reporting, analysis, and interpretation of data for all taxes and fees administered by the Department. I provide authoritative advice and recommendations on modifications to existing tax systems, development of new tax systems, and interpreting trends in revenue collections.
