About Amber D. Benjamin
To say I love my role is an understatement. Supporting Employee Business Resource Groups (EBRGs) across multiple markets isn’t just my job, it’s my calling. With 25 years at PNC, I began my career in retail banking, where I built a strong foundation in leadership, relationship management, and people development. After earning a DEI certification, I transitioned into Human Resources, bringing a practitioner’s lens to workplace culture, inclusion, and employee engagement.Today, I partner with leaders and EBRGs to:*Provide strategic guidance that helps groups move from ideas to measurable impact *Curate history and heritage resources that educate, inspire, and spark meaningful dialogue *Support cross-market collaboration that aligns people, culture, and business outcomesMy work lives at the intersection of culture, employee engagement, leadership development, and community impact. What motivates me most is seeing individuals and organizations grow with intention.Beyond my corporate role, I serve on the Board of the Professional Women’s Network (PWN) as Membership Engagement Chair, where I connect members to volunteer opportunities across Pittsburgh, strengthen member engagement, and support initiatives that advance women’s empowerment and leadership.I am also the Vice President of Education for PREP Speaks Toastmasters, where I mentor members by helping them achieve their public speaking goals, leadership milestones, and Toastmasters badges. Coaching others to find their voice and lead with confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my journey. In addition, I am a children’s book author and motivational speaker, using storytelling to inspire confidence, representation, and lifelong learning especially for children and families. I actively volunteer with organizations focused on early childhood education and community uplift, because building inclusive futures starts early. At my core, I am a relationship builder, culture shaper, mentor, and storyteller committed to helping people discover their voice, build belonging, and create lasting impact at work and in the world.I’m also a proud student at Oregon State University, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership. Let’s connect and collaborate on building more inclusive, empowered workplaces, and communities.
