ABOUT AMBER CORDOBA
I’m a mission-driven leader who has spent the last 20 years building things that create real opportunity for people, whether that’s in business, in relationships, or in systems that were never designed with them in mind.Today, I serve as Executive Director of the Relational Life Foundation, where we’re working to make relational skills accessible to everyone. At a time when loneliness and disconnection are showing up everywhere, in our homes, our workplaces, and our communities, I believe relational health is foundational. Our work is focused on helping people build the skills to show up with honesty, accountability, and connection, not just in theory, but in real life.Alongside that, I serve as Co-Chair of the Arizona CDFI Network, where I work with partners across the state to expand access to capital and resources for entrepreneurs and communities that have historically been overlooked. This work sits at the intersection of economic mobility and justice, ensuring that small businesses have a real chance to start, grow, and sustain. I also serve on the national CDFI Coalition Board. While these roles may look different on the surface, they are rooted in the same belief: that people deserve the opportunity to thrive. Whether we’re talking about a business owner trying to access capital, or a couple trying to repair their relationship, the common thread is access, support, and the tools to move forward.Throughout my career, I’ve built and scaled programs, led high-performing teams, entered new markets, and developed partnerships across sectors to drive meaningful impact. I’m someone who can hold both the big picture and the details, bringing structure to complexity while keeping people at the center of the work.My leadership is grounded in service, justice, and continuous learning. I care deeply about doing work that matters, and doing it in a way that is thoughtful, accountable, and real.Outside of my day-to-day work, I stay engaged in civic and nonprofit leadership, mentor emerging leaders, and support candidates and committees through campaign finance consulting. I’m also a mom, an avid reader, a scuba diver and PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, and someone who believes that growth, whether personal or professional, never really stops.
