About Amber Colvin
I am currently serving as the Director of Community Engagement and Director of Lausanne Learning at Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, TN. This means I get to work with our school community - parents, current families, new families, faculty & staff - to create meaningful connections and organize fun, community-centered events! In addition, I earned my PhD in History in 2023. My dissertation focuses on images of the royal families of Henry James II, and George II and their relationship to power, art collecting, and conceptions of the family in early modern England.
