ABOUT AMBER ZHENG
As a product designer with over two years of experience, I am passionate about creating user-centric and engaging digital solutions that enhance people\'s lives and well-being. I have a strong background in interactive technology and computational biology, which allows me to apply interdisciplinary and innovative approaches to design challenges, emphasizing on critical thinking and information organization skills. I currently work at Recess, a mobile app startup that connects community members who want to play sports games nearby at anytime, as competitive as they would like.At Recess, I lead the UX research, design, and prototyping on the main feature (Matchmaking) of the app, which allows users to find and join games that suit their preferences, skills, and availability. I use Figma to design and prototype intuitive interfaces while conquering challenges when communicating with frontend and backend engineers and marketing teams to ensure that the design solutions align with the business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility. I am proud to be part of a team that is creating a positive social impact by promoting physical activity, mental health, and community building through sports.
