ABOUT AMBER STRONG

Leading innovation and entrepreneurship learning and development experiences at the University of Exeter. With experience in regional business growth, matching teams of proactive intrapreneurial students who work together with regional businesses to share their diverse skills and fresh perspectives through short project placements as part of the IKEEP Programme at the University of Exeter, SETsquared Exeter.Passionate about start-ups and enabling a mindset for responsible and sustainable innovation, I have worked as part of the Student Startup team at the University of Exeter. Previously, I developed and managed the Be Entrepreneurial Take Action student business start-up support programme at the University of Plymouth 20••••18, ran international hackathons and supported the development of TEDx Plymouth University events. I also worked to support students on postgraduate research degrees as part of the University of Plymouth\'s Doctoral College and supported postgraduate research students and staff within the University of Plymouth\'s Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. With a postgraduate degree in MSc Entrepreneurship and International Development (2018 Dean\'s List Award Winner for academic achievement), I was initially inspired by environmental political economy whilst studying for my undergraduate degree in International Relations with History. Having run my own business and as Director of Dorset Nectar Cider LTD, I enjoy sharing my passion for marketing, sales funnels, enabling responsible innovation through start-ups and helping others thrive.
