About Amber Sorg

Amber Sorg is a Project Manager / Program Manager for Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience (CISR) in the National and Homeland Security Division at Idaho National Laboratory (INL). In this role, she oversees multiple US Congressional driven projects and deliverables for various components of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Energy (DOE), and Department of War (DOW). Her key focus areas include conceptual development, planning, engineering, procurement, development, start-up, operations, business development, program management and oversight, strategic planning, customer relationship management, and budget management.Amber also serves as a senior critical infrastructure analyst for a range of projects. She leads and performs critical infrastructure dependency and interdependency assessments for numerous Federal government components supporting efforts such as resilience planning and emergency response.Additionally, Amber has extensive experience as a business analyst, specializing in requirements gathering, data analysis, process improvement, and stakeholder communication. Her analytical skills have been instrumental in driving successful project outcomes and enhancing operational efficiency.Amber holds a master’s degree in Management and Leadership (MSML), a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management (BSBM). She is also certified in Project Management (PMP) and Change Management.
