ABOUT AMBER QUICK

My 1st venue was called The Meridian that I helped open and start in Houston, Texas. I walked into running a venue so RAW : No POS computers : No P&L : No true F&B cost all just a mom and pop venue that was lucky enough to have Live nation as a sister venue on national acts. I was allowed to hire, manage both BOH and FOH staffing also including being a part of the in house bookings. With in 5 years at The Meridian I put in a inventory program and a actual P&L structure as well as you basic SOP for venue cleanliness. I did leave on great terms and was part of the HOB Houston opening team in 08, capacity was with both rooms. Started as MH Supervisor and under a year was promoted as the Operations Manager. Going on 12 years in the Music Industry. I have transferred to New Orleans and currently am the Music Hall Director both managing the Main room and The Parish room also at House of Blues. Capacity 1,200 with both rooms. Realistic goals are to capture Head Tour Management : Head Venue Operations : Being a National Representative, or just take one club/theatre over at a time just like I have since I was 21 :) I have and do still work with Live Nation since 2003 : The Meridian was a sister venue from 20••••08 Now I have been with HOB since September 2008! My new chapter has started February 19th and can\'t wait to see and be part of this beautiful team! LN was a beautiful company to grow into but I can not be thankful for a new path in my life.
