I am a leader in GM\'s Product Program Cost Optimization (PPCO) department responsible for teams of Cost Engineers and Value Chain Engineers who are primarily focused on Interior, Exterior and Thermal components. My team members are located in countries across the globe including the US, Mexico and Brazil with support to our S. Korea team as well. I am always looking for talented and dynamic Cost Engineers and Value Chain Engineers to add to our organization! PPCO is a hard-working team of global cost optimization experts. We provide General Motors with a competitive advantage through a deep understanding of component material and vendor tooling costs. In this role, our Cost Engineers and Value Chain Engineers are a catalyst in GM\'s mission of Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion.Working in our Cost Optimization team, our CEs and VCEs apply their expertise, but also continue to seek out new trends and developments to impact the business. This requires that we work collaboratively as a team and seek to understand how we can best support our business partners. We are responsible for effectively applying our knowledge and continuing to drive efficient solutions.
