ABOUT AMBER KRUK

As Director of Development and Community Engagement at Kennebec Behavioral Health (KBH), I’m honored to support a mission-driven organization that provides comprehensive, compassionate mental health and substance use services across central Maine. In this role, I lead fundraising, development, and strategic engagement efforts to strengthen programs, expand access, and deepen community impact. For the past several years, I have also served as Executive Director and Director of Development of Crisis & Counseling Centers, guiding the agency through a period of growth, challenge, and ultimately, a thoughtful transition. As my dual role winds down, I remain deeply committed to ensuring that vital crisis services continue to thrive through new partnerships and sustainable systems of care.My career has been rooted in nonprofit leadership, public policy, and community advocacy—with a focus on elevating the voices of those we serve and building collaborative solutions that endure.I’m always open to connecting with others passionate about behavioral health, community development, and systems change. Let’s work together to make meaningful progress.
