I am a Manager of Patient Engagement and Care Coordination at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, a leading provider of high-quality, patient-centered care in the Upstate region of South Carolina. With over eight years of experience in the hospital and health care industry, I have developed and honed my skills and competencies in clinical and medical social work, hospice and palliative medicine, and mental health.As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and an Accredited Case Manager, I lead a diverse and dedicated team of professionals who serve patients by engaging, educating, and facilitating the resolution of their healthcare needs. I am passionate about empowering patients and their families to navigate the complex and dynamic healthcare system and to achieve their optimal health outcomes. I am also committed to developing and supervising strategic outreach campaigns, onboarding and training programs, and hand off procedures for my team and the organization. I have a proven track record of delivering quality care coordination, patient advocacy, healthcare education, and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement. I am also a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, which enables me to apply data-driven and customer-focused methodologies to improve processes and outcomes.
