I am a mechanical design engineer with experience in the District Energy industry. I have been involved in feasibility studies, conceptual design, detailed design and construction support. Through a number of projects, I have implemented my knowledge and skills in hydraulic and stress analysis to support the design and development of thermal distribution systems. Throughout my time at FVB Energy, I have significantly contributed to the design of new district energy systems at Princeton University, Georgetown University, and Markham District Energy. From conceptual design to construction support, the FVB engineering team successfully delivered a satisfactory product to the client.In addition to design work, I would like to highlight the work performed for University of Virginia (UVA). As a part of the FVB team, I contributed to the development of a framework plan and 10-year action plan to help UVA reach their climate action goals of carbon neutrality by 2030 and fossil fuel free by 2050. Through screening assessments, analysis of existing and future loads, and implementation of mature and immature technologies, FVB will direct UVA to a greener future.
