VIBE Magazine is an entertainment magazine dedicated to the life and times of Black Americans. Known as the “Soul of America,” the publication focuses on music, pop culture, politics, beauty, tech and other topics. At VIBE I write 25-30 news stories per week, while sometimes going over 100 stories a month. As I am interested in all topics, my beat here has consisted mostly of Hip-Hop and entertainment news, although I have consistently covered beauty, sports, fashion, film and TV, and more.With a strong personal rolodex of industry professionals, I’ve conducted exclusive interviews with high-profile figures and industry insiders, and am constantly invited to exclusive events. My work extends beyond the newsroom, as I love to travel to cover major festivals, exclusive events, and industry gatherings — securing original stories across all mediums. At VIBE I also get to create galleries, listicles, e-commerce articles, and editorial content tailored to VIBE\'s audience and brand identity. I work closely with the executive team, actively participating in editorial meetings, brainstorming fresh content ideas, and always thinking of new ways to amplify stories. At times I may also take on additional creative roles, including social media content creation and management, video production, and photography.
