Serve as the first point of contact for patients at a high-volume outpatient physical therapy clinic. Manage the full front-office cycle including intake, insurance verification, scheduling, and patient communication. Partner with clinical teams to ensure seamless care and exceptional customer service.Key contributions: • Verify benefits and authorizations through multiple insurance portals (Waystar, Availity, etc.) to secure timely approvals and minimize delays. • Coordinate patient admissions, plan-of-care documentation, and referral tracking for dozens of active cases simultaneously. • Maintain accurate records, reconcile cash logs, and handle daily deposits with strict confidentiality and compliance. • Proactively communicate with physicians’ offices, insurers, and support staff to resolve issues and improve workflows. • Deliver a welcoming, supportive environment that helps patients feel cared for from their first phone call to their last visit.
